Timber struts are cut from dense, straight-grained timber sustainably sourced from Finland. Steel STAR connectors and fasteners are manufactured to European standards, with bolts sourced from Germany, Italy, and Sweden. Frame Only Dome Kits

The geodesic dome kits are available as frame only structures. Once assembled, the dome can be clad with polycarbonate panels, PVC cover, EPDM membrane, or any compatible covering suited to your climate and intended use.

How difficult is it to assemble?

The kits are designed for self-assembly without specialist tools or construction experience. The laminated diagrams include step by step assembly instructions. 

What size dome kit do I need?

For a single-occupancy garden studio or glamping pod, a Ø5m or Ø6m frame is sufficient. For a family retreat, yoga studio, or small event shelter, Ø7m to Ø9m covers most use cases. The Ø10m to Ø12m frames suit larger commercial installations or multi-room builds.

Can the frame be used outdoors year-round?

Yes, when clad with a weatherproof covering. The timber and steel components are manufactured for outdoor use. The choice of cladding material will determine the dome’s insulation and weather resistance. 

Does the kit require a foundation?

A level base is recommended. The frame can be anchored to an existing wooden deck, concrete slab, or ground anchors depending on the site.
