Sauna Domes Use Cases

Sauna domes can be installed at private residences, glamping retreats, boutique hotels, or waterfront spas. Glass domes are effective on marina decks, lakeside platforms, and rooftop terraces where the surrounding landscape becomes part of the experience.

The Ø4m H3.4m V1 STAR/wood/PVC Sauna Dome Kit suits buyers who want to build and fit out the sauna themselves while the glass dome models arrive as a complete structural shell.

Single-Pane and Double-Pane Sauna Dome

Single-pane sauna domes are suited to warmer climates where heat retention is less critical while Double-pane models are suited for year-round outdoor use in cold climates. The Ø3m and Ø3.5m double-pane models start from €35,980 and €40,455 respectively. The glass used on both is manufactured to European EN structural standards.

FAQ

Can a glass dome be used as a sauna?

Yes. These domes are specifically designed for sauna use and use with glazing and frame materials selected for performance in high-temperature and high-humidity environments.

What is the difference between single-pane and double-pane glazing?

Single-pane glass is a single layer with no insulating cavity while double-pane glass uses two sealed panels with an insulating gap between them.

Does the dome include the sauna interior?

No. The dome is the structural shell only. The interior fit-out, including benches, heater, ventilation, and flooring is completed separately.

Can the dome be installed on an existing deck?

Yes. The Ø3m and Ø3.5m models are compact enough for installation on most existing timber or concrete decks.

Is planning permission required?

Planning requirements vary by country, region, and installation type. Glass dome models are engineered to EN structural standards and ship with full structural drawings, which support planning applications in most markets. Check with your local authority before installation.
