Geodesic Dome Frame Kit Sizes and Floor Areas
STAR/wood Icosahedron frames cover hemisphere dome builds from Ø5m to Ø12m. The Ø5m frame provides 19.6m² of floor area which is big enough for a compact garden studio or single-occupancy glamping pod. The Ø7m and Ø8m frames cover 38.5m² and 50.2m² respectively, suited to family retreats, yoga studios, or small event shelters. The Ø10m, Ø11m, and Ø12m frames scale up to 73.6m², 95m², and 113.1m² for large residential and commercial builds.
V-Slot Aluminum Sphere Frames available in Ø4m, Ø4.5m, Ø5m, Ø5.5m, and Ø6m are full 360° structures equal in height and diameter ideal for projects where a complete globe form is needed rather than a standard hemisphere.

Timber Dome Frames
STAR/wood frame kits use pre-cut struts from Finnish timber paired with STAR steel connectors and fasteners manufactured to European standards. Bolts are sourced from Germany, Italy, and Sweden. The timber and steel give the frame structural integrity suited to year-round outdoor use.
Aluminum Dome Frames
V-Slot Aluminum Sphere Frames use precision-engineered aluminum profiles that align and connect without the adjustment work common in standard bolted frames. Aluminum is significantly lighter than steel which makes it easier to install without heavy lifting equipment. It does not rust or corrode in outdoor conditions which makes it suited to high-humidity environments.
Both kit types supply the structural frame only. Once assembled, the dome can be clad with polycarbonate panels, PVC canvas, glass, mesh, fabric, or any compatible covering suited to your climate and intended use.
