FAQ

What is a prefab geodesic dome?

A prefab geodesic dome is a prefabricated structure that arrives as a ready-to-assemble kit. All components are manufactured to final dimensions, pre-cut, labelled, and packed with assembly diagrams.

How long does it take to assemble a prefab dome?

Most polycarbonate models assemble in 1–3 days with two to four people. Larger or permanent glass structures take longer.

Do I need specialist skills to assemble a prefab dome?

No. 98% of customers install without specialist help, using standard hand tools. The components are pre-cut and labelled, and the assembly diagrams guide the full sequence.

Do prefab domes need a foundation?

Not always. Semi-permanent models anchor to an existing deck, concrete surface, or ground anchors, or can be ballasted where direct fixing is not possible.
