STAR Connectors Kit is a set of metal connectors with instructions to build a geodesic dome. You will need to cut your own wood struts (not included), to build the dome. You can build many different sizes, and shapes.

STAR Connector strength:
Hobby - Hubs Kit for small projects up to 6-meter diameter.
Classic - Hubs Kit for projects up to a 12-meter diameter.
Pro - Hubs Kit for large projects up to a 30-meter diameter. We recommend consulting our specialist.

STAR Connector fixing method to wooden struts:
Connectors only from the inside (default fixing method) - For small structures where the exterior coating requires a smooth surface. Best for PVC tarpaulin coating, OSB, or uncoated.
Connectors only from the outside - For small structures where it is essential to have an assembly outside due to design or other requirements.
Double-layer fixing - For strong and durable constructions, suitable for structures of all sizes. For a double layer dome frame you must order 2 kits.
Concealed fixing - For various structures where great aesthetics are required.
To prevent deformation of the connectors during installation, we recommend the use of temporary supports to support the unconnected parts
Struts:
Struts are not included. The scheme for wood cutting is included.
Minimum strut dimensions are: Hobby 20x20mm / Classic 45x45mm / Pro 45x60mm. The larger the strut, the heavier it is. If the struts are too heavy, the connector might bend once attached.

Strut Recommendations
Oak wooden struts – Planed surface oak hardwood, natural color, available with or without additional coatings (oil, stain, paint, varnish).
Impregnated wooden struts – deep impregnation wood, resistant to constant moisture. Planed surface, natural color. Durable, moisture-resistant.
AISI struts – stainless steel profiles, completely corrosion resistant. The surface is polished, matte.
ALU RAL struts – aluminum profiles, completely corrosion resistant. Powder-painted in any RAL palette color.
ZN struts– galvanized steel profiles, corrosion-resistant.

2 year manufacturers warranty covers manufacturing faults / defects only, not misuse or damages arising from adverse weather conditions.
