Aura Dome™ Snow and wind load standards

The Aura Dome™ -  models are strong and durable for most cases both indoor and outdoor if the weather conditions are not such that the snow load is too large. This can be checked based on your location using this tool that allows you to check for snow loads based on your location anywhere in the world:

If you are from North America, you can check the snow load based on your location from this link.

The AURA Dome Strength Index is made of 5 strength categories that can withstand the following Snow- and Wind loads:

TYPE Max. Snow load Max. Wind load
LIGHT 0.5 kN 20 m/s
STANDARD 1.6 kN 25 m/s
PRO 2.2 kN 30 m/s
ULTRA 2.7 kN 33 m/s
EXTREME 3.3 kN 38 m/s

AURA Dome LIGHT – pavilion with large segments. Withstands minimal snow and wind. It can be used all year round in Southern countries with no snow. Snow resistant up to 0.5 kN, winds up to 20 m/s. Quick to assemble due to having large segments and fewer bolts. Due to the short installing time, it is suitable for short-term events.

AURA Dome STANDARD – pavilion with medium-sized segments. Resistant to snow and wind, it can be used all year round in 90% of countries worldwide. Snow resistant up to 1.6 kN, winds up to 25 m/s. Due to smaller segments and more bolts, assembly takes a third longer than EVENT models. The polycarbonate is thicker than the EVENT models.

AURA Dome strong models PRO, EXTREME, ULTRA – pavilion with smaller and thicker segments. Highly resistant to snow and wind. Vandal-resistant. Technological equipment can be added. Suitable for Northern countries or snowy mountains. Snow is immune from 2.2 kN, and wind from 33 m/s. Assembly takes twice as long as EVENT models due to smaller segments and more and thicker bolts. The polycarbonate plates are wider than in the LIGHT and STANDARD models.

Note: The maximum specified load can cause a slight deformation of the polycarbonate part. Exceeding the specified maximum load may result in greater bending or damage to the polycarbonate part.

In all cases, a new spare part can be ordered in place of irreparably damaged parts. It is only necessary to identify it in the assembly scheme.
