Fully transparent – frameless polycarbonate structure – 360° view experience.
Anti-corrosive – The polycarbonate dome with stainless steel parts and screws is completely anti-corrosive.
UV resistant – polycarbonate is UV resistant, which means furniture and your belongings are safe even on a very sunny day.
Robust – doesn’t break, withstands high loads of wind, water, sand, and snow. Thanks to its geometry, AURA Dome remains stable, robust, and resistant to any environmental conditions.
A two-way sound isolated – polycarbonate is a transparent glass-like soundproofing barrier.
Micro ventilation – there are tiny air gaps between plates in the size of a few mm, which make Aura breathe infinitely. Still, Aura remains water, wind, sand, or snow resistant.
Maintenance is easy – only washing high-pressure waterjet.

Frameless Geodesic Dome Transparency
We determine the Aura Dome cover and its thickness according to the geolocation of the building (Wind and Snow Loads) and its purpose (Standard hardness or Antivandal).
- TRANSPARENT - We use clear, monolithic polycarbonate, but other materials can be used as long as they have the same stiffness, strength, resistance to atmospheric effects, and UV.
- SEMI-TRANSPARENT - clear polycarbonate combined with aluminum composite or laminated, waterproof plywood. (Mix of transparency, colors, maturity, plywood, or bond plate). Digital print on plates. Opal white color plates.
Frameless Geodesic Dome Load Resistance
AURA Dome LIGHT – pavilion with large segments. Withstands minimal snow and wind. It can be used all year round in Southern countries with no snow. Snow resistant up to 0.5 kN, winds up to 31 m/s. Quick to assemble due to having large segments and fewer bolts. Due to the short installing time, it is suitable for short-term events.
AURA Dome STANDARD – pavilion with medium-sized segments. Resistant to snow and wind, it can be used all year round in 90% of countries worldwide. Snow resistant up to 1.6 kN, winds up to 34 m/s. Due to smaller segments and more bolts, assembly takes a third longer than EVENT models. The polycarbonate is thicker than the EVENT models.
AURA Dome strong models PRO, EXTREME, ULTRA – pavilion with smaller and thicker segments. Highly resistant to snow and wind. Vandal-resistant. Technological equipment can be added. Suitable for Northern countries or snowy mountains. Snow is immune from 2.2 kN, and wind from 38 m/s. Assembly takes twice as long as EVENT models due to smaller segments and more and thicker bolts. The polycarbonate plates are wider than in the LIGHT and STANDARD models.
Cooling and Heating for Frameless Geodesic Dome
Since the dome shell is assembled from separate polycarbonate segments and every single of them is slightly bent, miniature gaps occur facing towards the ground. This ensures that even without any windows, (or windows in closed position) the air inside the dome would circulate and change over time. Segments are connected to each other in a fish skin manner, so waterproofing is guaranteed.
Air conditioner – Aura Dome can be equipped with a simple consumer-type AC conditioner. Thanks to the dome’s geometry, which evenly distributes air inside for a fast air cooling effect. For larger domes (8m in diameter and above), professional AC systems can be applied. This can be necessary for tropical regions or high activity spaces like dome-shaped cafes or restaurants.
Infrared heater – one of the most efficient heating types is infrared heating. They are mostly used in domes when space is used not all day long. The heater only heats surfaces, things, and people in the coverage area (radiance heat transfer). The heat effect is instant since surface heating is way more efficient than heating all the inside air (convective heat transfer). The heater is usually installed on the top of the door jamb, facing the dome’s center.
Any other heating/cooling systems are available. We do not recommend adding a fireplace.
Frameless Geodesic Dome Assembly
Aura Dome can be assembled in 1-3 days by 2-4 people. The dome comes on a pallet and with instructions and is assembled in IKEA style.

Frameless Geodesic Dome windows
The Aura Dome window is made from transparent polycarbonate, and perfectly blends with the rest of the panels. It has 2 stainless steel hinges, on both sides, for mechanical opening. The window opening angle (or amount) can be adjusted, to let in a desired amount of ventilation.
The Aura Dome has micro ventilation built-in, due to the panel layout, which creates tiny air gaps. However, sometimes, you might want to let in more fresh air than the dome naturally circulates. You can add an unlimited number of windows to your dome since they simply replace the original polycarbonate panels.

Frameless Geodesic Dome doors
Dome comes with a stainless steel door jamb which has a lifetime guarantee. The door jamb is very stable, elegant and rust-free. It is equipped with a safety-tempered clear glass door. It also includes stainless steel hinges, handle and lock. The standard door entrance width is 941mm.
